In order for “Claire Smith Dog Grooming” to comply with General Data Protection Regulation, as both the Data Holder and Controller, we will abide by our own, written Data Protection Policy. In simple terms, this means that information provided by you to us will be recorded safely, used fairly and lawfully and will not be passed on to any other person or business.
Data will be:
Accurate and up-to-date
Relevant, adequate and not excessive
Viewed only by “Mrs Claire Smith”
Held in a secure place away from unauthorised access or loss
Data will not be:
Stored for longer than necessary and when no longer required, paper records will be shredded
Used for any other purpose for which it was intended (we will not rent, swap or sell your information)
Communicated by any method to any other party unless you ask us to do so or if we become legally obliged
We will:
Allow you to request that your data is modified or erased
Inform you if there has been a breach, compromise or loss of data
Store your telephone details on our mobile phone which is secured by fingerprint recognition
Sometimes post photographs of your animal/s and their name on social media sites or our website
